Quick start

How to use Hey Lunem

After install, you do not need to hunt for a chat box. Summon Lunem from anywhere on Windows, talk, and keep learning in flow.

Talk with the voice shortcut

1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Space

Works system-wide. Alternate: Ctrl+Shift+Space.

2. Say “Hey!”

Lunem should reply out loud. Ask a question, start a focus thread, or request a lesson.

3. Stop anytime

Press Ctrl+Alt+X to stop mid-explanation. Use Ctrl+Shift+L to hide or bring the window back.

Ask it to teach

Try: “Teach me how capacitors work on the whiteboard” or “Explain this on my screen.” If the format is unclear, Lunem may ask whether you want a whiteboard or an animation.

Screen access

New installs default to ask-every-time. Approve when you want visual help; deny when you do not. Use Privacy in the app for Never / Allow modes and the kill switch.
